Jenna Tenn-Yuk is a spoken word artist, public speaker and educator. She was a member of the 2010 Canadian Festival of Spoken Word Wild Card team, and has performed at Parliament Hill, City Hall, Pecha Kucha, numerous conferences and has given a TEDx Talk. Jenna was awarded a Tontine award for her project that seeks to engage people in spoken word by providing free workshops.

Jeannette Tossounian is an artist who has compiled a series of jail sketches and jail poems created in her cell at an Ontario womens detention centre called 'Songs from the Slammer'.

IDTE Dance Showcase
IDTE Dance Showcase

Halima and Carolina are the co-directors and co-founders of IDTE, which stands for I dance to express. The theme of identity was chosen to provide a positive representation of LGBTQIA+, women, BIPOC, and body positivity within street dance. IDTE is a dance showcase and program facilitating connection and community integration for emerging street dancers in the Ottawa area. The program is free to participate in with efforts to make it accessible to all interested.
