Jenna Tenn-Yuk is a spoken word artist, public speaker and educator. She was a member of the 2010 Canadian Festival of Spoken Word Wild Card team, and has performed at Parliament Hill, City Hall, Pecha Kucha, numerous conferences and has given a TEDx Talk. Jenna was awarded a Tontine award for her project that seeks to engage people in spoken word by providing free workshops.

Jeannette Tossounian is an artist who has compiled a series of jail sketches and jail poems created in her cell at an Ontario womens detention centre called 'Songs from the Slammer'.

Excellent Speakers and Listening Organisms features an exhibition of speakers, sound-sculptures, and instruments inspired by the forms and languages of living organisms. The Tontine Award will enable Jenny to collaborate with Accessibility Expert and Professional Storyteller, Kim Kilpatrick, to make the exhibit more interactive for the blind and low-vision community through consultation and hosting scheduled touch-tours, and will cover costs for additional on-site support throughout the week.
