She was a member of the 2010 Canadian Festival of Spoken Word Wild Card team, and has performed at Parliament Hill, City Hall, Pecha Kucha, numerous conferences and has given a TEDx Talk. Jenna was awarded a Tontine award for her project that seeks to engage people in spoken word by providing free workshops.
Jeannette Tossounian is an artist who has compiled a series of jail sketches and jail poems created in her cell at an Ontario womens detention centre called 'Songs from the Slammer'.
Aymara Alvarado Sanchez and Coco Simone Finken are two multidisciplinary artists based in Ottawa-Gatineau, on unceded Algonquin territory. Their love of costumes, music and performative arts shines through their interactive public performance project «Tricotosa». This performance revolves around the complexity of human relationship, particularly through the exploration of intimate relationships, proximity and emotional vulnerability.
