Jeannette Tossounian is an artist who has compiled a series of jail sketches and jail poems created in her cell at an Ontario womens detention centre called 'Songs from the Slammer'.
Corinne Blouin is a francophone multidisciplinary painter/illustrator living on unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishinabe Nation (Ottawa, Canada). Street offerings is her most current public art project and invites the dialogue that art should be accessible to everyone. This project allows her to interact with the city as she leaves behind a trail of small creations as gifts for anyone to find! Through this initiative, she hopes to encourage others to explore the vibrancy of the city.
Jenna Tenn-Yuk is a spoken word artist, public speaker and educator. She was a member of the 2010 Canadian Festival of Spoken Word Wild Card team, and has performed at Parliament Hill, City Hall, Pecha Kucha, numerous conferences and has given a TEDx Talk.
Jenna was awarded a Tontine award for her project that seeks to engage people in spoken word by providing free workshops.
