In Our Tongues
In Our Tongues Reading and Art Series is a new monthly series dedicated to showcasing, nurturing and advancing historically under-represented Indigenous and racialized poets, writers, musicians and other artists in Ottawa, including those across the gender spectrum, from both English and French-speaking communities.
Jenna Tenn-Yuk is a spoken word artist, public speaker and educator. She was a member of the 2010 Canadian Festival of Spoken Word Wild Card team, and has performed at Parliament Hill, City Hall, Pecha Kucha, numerous conferences and has given a TEDx Talk.
Jenna was awarded a Tontine award for her project that seeks to engage people in spoken word by providing free workshops.
